             About Me
Born and raised in Washington State and now attending the University of Washington, I began what turned into a passion for photography, at the age of ten, when my Dad gave me an old Kodak APS camera.  Now using a Canon Rebel and a newer Canon 60D, my enthusiasm and love for what I do continues to grow with every new photo opportunity.

At age fourteen I licensed my business and signed my first contract with Guest Services to supply Photo Note Cards and Matted Prints to the stores in Mt Rainier National Park.

I have since expanded adding several Retail outlets, provided stock photos for advertising use, and published my internet site.

In the winter months I spend weekends at Mt Rainier snowshoeing and ice climbing.  And you will also find me on the slopes every Spring Break enjoying my time off, rain, snow, or shine.

During the summer months I hike and backpack many areas in the PNW, including The Wonderland Trail, a 93 mile trek encircling Mt Rainier, on which I ascend and descend an average of 3000 feet of elevation per day.  It is a strenuous hike that provides many of my photo opportunities in the more remote locations of Mt Rainier.  I and my Dad have hiked The Wonderland Trail twice, completing the first time in eleven days, and the second in twelve days.

I have expanded my hiking and photography to include several other renown NW areas including Mt St Helens, Stehekin at the northern end of Lake Chelan, The Enchantments in the Central Cascades south of Leavenwoth, the Coasts of Washington and Oregon, and Crater Lake National Park.

I have been lucky having the opportuninty to use my passion for photography to help fund my  college education. There is no more rewarding feeling than that of accomplishing the goal of a higher education by doing the thing that I enjoy the most, which is sharing my artwork with the world. My goal in college is to pursue a degree in enviormental sciences with a minor in business. After college, it is my hope to fulfill a lifelong dream to work for National Geographic as a photographer. I am interested in both nature and human interest assignments. I find each to be a unique and rewarding challenge. My new found attention for human interest photography has come from the opportunity to photograph several Weddings, Musician performances, and family portraits.

It is also my goal to open a series of galleries around the world from which I can share and sell my artwork.

Thank you to every one who has supported me in my pursuits, whether it be by encouragement or the purchase of my art, thank you so much.  I thoroughly enjoy what I do, love to share my work and experiences with people, and am truly honored when someone finds one of my photographs worthy of purchase.

Please browse my site and hopefully enjoy what you see.  If you have comments or questions, do not hesitate to email me and I will answer as soon as possible.
